GASTONIA, N.C. – Dominion Energy, through its charitable foundation, awarded grants to more than 200 nonprofit
organizations in 13 states, including four nonprofits in their N.C. gas service area, to help feed, house and care for
people in need. Totaling $1.6 million, the grants will support essential human services. This is the fifth year the
company has awarded more than $1 million to meet critical community needs.
“From providing meals to those in need to ensuring low-income families have a place to call home, deserving
organizations like these are the backbone of our communities,” said Dominion Energy North Carolina Vice President of
Operations Shaun Randall. “We are proud to stand alongside them as they work to make a difference for some of the most
vulnerable in our service territory.”
Applications were open to eligible organizations in targeted areas of Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Maryland, New York,
North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming, and other areas within
Dominion Energy's footprint. Grant-winning recipients in the Dominion Energy North Carolina Gas territory are:
