Asheville, N.C. (July 19, 2017) – PSNC Energy advises motorists to avoid Brevard Road in the Sandy Bottoms area this weekend if possible, due to construction. The southbound lane of Brevard Road will close from 7 a.m. Friday, July 21 through 8 p.m. Sunday, July 22. Traffic control will be present around-the-clock to guide traffic.
Travelers can use the DOT's Traveler Information Management System to get real time information on NCDOT maintained roadways. The NCDOT approved the road closing for the natural gas utility to safely conduct its construction work.
