Rate 101 - Residential Service (a)
PSNC Energy customers use natural gas for a variety of purposes in their homes because of its reliability and efficiency. Rate 101 is our residential service rate plan, and it has a winter energy charge and a summer energy charge. All residential customers are charged the same rate for their natural gas service regardless of their usage.
This service is available for residential customers who own or rent a home, condominium, mobile home or apartment.

This discounted rate is available to a residential customer who qualifies for service on Rate 101 and whose home meets the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® for Homes certification standards, or equivalent. Qualifying customers pay $.05 per therm less than under otherwise applicable Rate 101.
Upon receiving certification that a home qualifies, PSNC Energy will assign the customer’s account to Rate Schedule 102.
For homes that use equivalent means to qualify, a registered professional engineer’s statement must be provided that states that the home uses no more energy, on a per square foot basis, than an ENERGY STAR home qualified under current ENERGY STAR for Homes guidelines.

Rate 115 - Unmetered Lighting Service (a)
Rate 115 is available for customer-owned, unmetered, gas lighting service. All gas delivered is for use exclusively in permanently installed gas lighting devices, including gas lanterns, connected to PSNC Energy’s distribution system. Monthly consumption for billing under this rate schedule is determined based upon the manufacturer’s BTU rating for each gas lighting device (see Tariff for Rate Schedule 115 for billing formula). One facilities charge is billed per account. If you add an unmetered gas light at premises currently receiving service, there is no additional facilities charge.
