Your dollar a month to Heat Care could keep a family warm this winter.
Each night, in your community, there are families who go to bed cold. That’s why PSNC Energy sponsors The Salvation Army Heat Care Fund, a financial assistance program that helps people pay their heating bills, regardless of the type of fuel they use.
How does the Heat Care Fund work? All the money contributed to the Heat Care Fund is administered solely by The Salvation Army. Funds are distributed by local Salvation Army agencies to needy residents living in PSNC Energy’s service territory. More than $1 million has been disbursed since the program began in 1983.
What role does PSNC Energy play in Heat Care? PSNC Energy is in its 28th year of sponsoring The Salvation Army Heat Care Fund. This fall, PSNC Energy is kicking off the heating season with a $40,000 donation to the fund. As contributions are made by customers and the general public, PSNC Energy will match 50 cents for every $1 contribution for a maximum match of an additional $20,000.
How do I contribute? You can contribute to Heat Care online or submit a Heat Care contribution form by mail to the address below. If you choose to make an ongoing donation, your next PSNC Energy bill will indicate the amount you plan to donate each month. This amount will be added to your PSNC Energy bills. All donations are tax deductible.
