How it Works:
We estimate your bills for the next 12 months and spread that amount into 12 equal payments which will be your monthly EPP payments.


For each of the next 12 months, your bill will show your actual usage, your total amount due, and your special EPP amount. You simply pay your EPP amount.

Usually, your monthly EPP will not change during the year. However, we do monitor EPP accounts to prevent large billing balances from accruing. An adjustment to your EPP may be necessary if your billing rate and/or usage changes significantly. The following situations may increase your electric and/or gas usage:

• Additional people living in your home
• Additions to your home (rooms, appliances, swimming pool, spa, etc.)
• Faulty appliances, hot water leak, etc
• Extreme weather (hot summer and/or cold winter)

After 12 months (anniversary), we'll recalculate your bill based on your actual usage.

• If the total amount you paid during the 12 month period is less than your actual billing amount (you owe us), then you can either pay the difference in full or have the difference added to your recalculated EPP for the next 12 months.
  
  
• If the total amount you paid is more than your actual billing amount (we owe you), then we'll apply that amount to your recalculated EPP for the next 12 months.
