Interruptible Sales
Rate 160 - Special Sales Rate
This Service is available to any Rate Schedule No. 150 who has installed and operable alternate fuel capability. It gives PSNC Energy the ability to match alternate fuel prices during competitive pricing periods. Rates for this Service are determined prior to the delivery of Service. The Facilities Charge applicable to Rate 150 applies to this schedule also.
Rate 165 - Special Transportation Rate
This Rate Schedule is available to any Rate Schedule No. 180 Customer that has installed and operable alternate fuel capability on those occasions when PSNC has transportation Service available that is not needed to provide Service under its other Rate Schedules containing fixed rates.
Notice to Interruptible Customers:
Please check your supplies of standby fuel and ensure that your system is in working order so that you will be prepared if curtailment is necessary. The interruptible service you selected under Rate Schedule No. 150 or 180 requires that you be able to accept total curtailment and discontinue the use of gas after two hours' notice.
If an emergency occurs when your account is under curtailment, please IMMEDIATELY notify your account representative, or PSNC Energy gas control personnel. Please do not leave a voice mail message. Gas control personnel are available 24/7 at 704-834-6590. All unauthorized gas usage during periods of curtailment will be charged at the currently effective unauthorized gas rate, in addition to the regular energy charge. Please be sure that this information is communicated internally to all appropriate personnel.
If your situation regarding your ability to accept total curtailment has changed since you selected interruptible service under Rate 150 or 180, please contact us immediately so we can discuss the proper service for your account.

Rate 175 - Firm Transportation Service for Customers Qualifying for Service on Rate 145

Emergency Services
Limited Emergency Service may be made available to any Customer, other than those served on Rate Schedule No. 160. Emergency Service may be provided to Customers who are unable to accept curtailment due to legitimate emergency situations.
Current Rates Applicable to this Service
$1.00 plus cost of gas per therm
On-Peak
On-Peak Emergency Service may be made available to any Customer who would otherwise be curtailed while PSNC Energy is utilizing a peak shaving capability (e.g. Liquefied Natural Gas). This Service is provided at PSNC Energy's discretion.
Current Rates Applicable to this Service
$1.50 plus cost of gas per therm
Unauthorized Gas
In the event a Customer fails to discontinue the use of Gas after two hours notice, all Gas so used shall be paid for by the Customer at the rate for Unauthorized Gas set forth under Rider A in Sheet No. 100-2 in addition to the regular energy charge for such Gas.
