A standard residential installation includes the following:
- Pulling all applicable permits for installation*
- New natural gas tankless water heater delivered to your home
- Disconnection and haul away of existing unit for proper disposal
- Installation area is unobstructed and easily accessible
- Installation in same location as old unit using existing water and gas lines
- Up to 20 feet of additional gas line as required by the installation
- Up to 20 feet of additional hot and cold water lines as required by the installation
- Pipe cover and Insulation (external units and/or units located in unconditioned space)
- Water Kit
- PRV with 10 feet of PVC/Pex piping
- Testing the newly installed tankless water heater to verify proper installation and operation
- Cleaning up the job site and going over the "Installer Checklist" with the customer
*Actual permit cost is additional and varies by city and county.
Items NOT included in a standard residential installation (ask you sales rep if your install will require any of these items)
- Permit cost associated with applicable permitting
- Any applicable electrical and/or bonding
- Vertically venting units (through roof installations)
- Pans (required with attic installations)
- Expansion tanks (where required)
- Pressure changes to the customer's gas system (going from inches to pounds, and adding regulators due to load, etc.)
- More than 20 feet of gas or water lines (respectively)
- Freeze kits (drain-down kits)
- Circulating pumps
- Any applicable County and State taxes
